You’ve got everything in yourself that you can possibly need to do anything you want in life.
Whatever you think you are, you are always more than that. Even when you think you are doing a lot of things and going nowhere, the knowledge that you gain from doing those things is compounded exponentially.
Sometimes we build and rebuild things again. Sometimes we lose things because of our actions. It’s okay to forgive yourself because of your foolish actions.
You can build a bigger following than you’ve ever had. You can be more prosperous than you ever have been. You can build a bigger vision than you’ve ever had.
No matter what you’ve been through in life, you are worthy of doing great things. Realize who you are, and you will realize what you can be.
Sometimes to realize who we are we may need to sit in silence, go to church, or have someone come and tell us they believe in us. I believe in you and that you have the capacity to do great things. – JT
The things that harm you already exist in your life. No one knows what can bring you down better than yourself. What is clinging to the back of your shirt tail, ready to grab ahold of your neck at any given time?
You already know what they are, right?
Coveting Other People’s Stuff
Bad Self Image
Getting Sucked Into Gossip
Desiring Things You Don’t Have
The list could go on and on. You are special. Embrace who you are. These things are traps and never-ending energy suckers. They will drag you down to lows you never thought possible if you let them.
Since you already know what troubles you and could harm you in your life – punch it square in the jaw and tell yourself that you aren’t going to that mind-space anymore of harmful thoughts and actions.
Keep your chin up. Embrace each day for what it holds.
Imagine the state of your body. You just slept for hopefully longer than 6 hours. You had nothing to drink for the past 6 hours at least. Not only that, your body just went through a repair phase, using everything that you put in it the day before to fix its issues.
The first thing most people put in their body (and because it’s first is also why it hits so hard) is coffee. Coffee does have some good properties, and definitely good vibes, but it probably is not the optimal drink for your daily routine.
Rather than running straight for the coffee maker in the morning, run for the fridge and grab some fruits. Let the abundance of nature be the first thing that your body absorbs. Try this for a week, and you’ll notice a massive difference in your health, your mind, and your body.
I usually keep it simple. My smoothies are made in a 2 year-old Nutribullet (it’s still holding up, so I keep using it, everyday).
My smoothies are simple like I said and all that I usually put in them is:
There’s a ton of more recipes out there, but this is my go-to for a morning smoothie.
That’s really it. I choose to do the frozen strawberries and blueberries because they are an incredible value. I just got like 4 pounds of frozen blueberries for like 5 bucks. Incredible! Imagine walking to a blueberry field and picking them yourself. Although I would love that if I didn’t have to work everyday, I just don’t have the time. So then, I am a firm believer in the frozen fruits.
I hope this helps you in your quest for the perfect morning routine.
Every story has a point. When you are telling stories either online, on a blog, or in real life, plan them out. Tell them like you are telling it to someone you care about, even if you have no idea it is you are speaking to. Speak from your heart and be authentic.
Make sure when telling your stories whether it is to sell something or create a following or just to share it with a stranger, include an emotional point. Include a natural flow to help people want to hear or read until the end of the story. When you get to an emotional point in a story, change the subject just a little bit, but then return to the story. This is a natural flow of conversation, and keeps people listening.
Natural flows include adding details, saying things that require them to search for the root. What’s the root? Like if I were to say, “Whatever you do, don’t think about the skin on your shoulders.” You’re naturally inclined to DO the opposite, and think about the skin on your shoulders. These types of things draw the listener in. Tell them what to do next in threes. It will help them to assemble a talk list in their mind.
If you are selling something, this is extremely important. For instance, you would not just tell them to go and put their email in. You would tell them to go to the website and wait for it to load. When it’s loaded, notice the email box. Put your email in the box and hit the submit button.
After that, you’ll be redirected to a video that you can watch. See how much more guided that is instead of just, “Enter your email on my website?” So the takeaway here is when you are telling stories they should always have a point, keep people interested by including root-seeking phrases, and make sure they know what to do at the end of the story.
When your motion gets stuck, your knowledge gets stuck.
I’m sitting here writing this blog post with a YouTube video playing. The video features a sound recording of insects in the woods at night time. I literally prefer this right now over the sound of a beach recording. There is something about all of the frequencies and overlapping sound waves, in which some are even hard to hear or understand, that is healing to the mind. I’m not entirely sure if it is scientifically documented anywhere, but I can speak from personal experience that it is healing in so many ways.
Despite all of the goodness in nature and the healing from it, we run around our yard with foggers and chase away these little creatures. I am not one for mosquito bites, but this next summer, I’m going to look at some alternate methods to deal with the skeeters.
Is it ironic that these creatures come out in full force at night time – when we are designed to sleep? Imagine yourself in the middle of the woods at night time, sleeping under the trees. Just like the sun is there for us in the day and provides us with light and goodness, the bugs are there at night time to heal our bodies through sound waves. All of nature works together, all of the time.
If you’re bored sometime, head off into the woods at night. If you don’t have the opportunity to do that, then just put a sound clip like this on in your ears and be shocked to your core at how wonderful you feel while listening to it.
Whatever you think you are, you’re always more than that.
1111: Do you see this often?
If you lose, your family loses, your community loses, and the world loses.
We need to come together and help one another win. Whatever it is, we all need to believe in each other. True prosperity is not get rich, get rich, get rich, buy my next thing, buy my next thing and buy my next thing.
The reality is, we need to lift one another up in however we can.
We have to work together. We need to get over our bull honkey.
You survived, but something on the inside died in the process.
Feeling like you’re not good enough, your fear, and the patterns that keep you down need to die.
Once you experience the success you’ve been working after, you realize that all of the negative things that used to hold you down, died. That’s the only way you have gotten to where you are.
People fail to achieve success because they make bad choices. Bad decisions based off of fear hold you down.Win the fight. Kill the fear. Pain is temporary.
You can do this and conquer your dreams.
Go for what is yours. I believe in you.
It’s been said that a man has two lives.
The first life is full of wanting tons of stuff – chasing after multiple things and not really getting anywhere.
The second life is the realization that he only has ONE life. He then simplifies it, and focuses on one thing at a time until he achieves it.
Stay focused on your ONE life, and achieving ONE thing at a time.
Whatever you identify yourself with, your life will center around it.
If you identify with your race, religion, or something else, everything in your life will circle around and center around fulfilling that identity. You are ascribing to something, and everything in your life works to fulfil with what you think you are. Your intellect will do what it takes to protect that identity.
Choose wisely. What you identify with will determine what you stand for.
Your own competence will become your enemy. Your intelligence, ability, and competence will find it's full capability only if you have balance. The more you become empowered in your life, the more you need to focus on balance, or the aforementioned things will work against you.
It's all about the value your customer receives and helping support others.
If you give more value than your customer pays for, the money you receive for that deal will bless you and your family. If you rip someone off, that money has bad energy attached to it, and if you buy a meal with that and feed your family, you are feeding them on dirty money. It's always best to treat your customers with the utmost respect and with a servant heart.
Let's say you are selling an item for $200 in your shop. If you see a rich man walk in, do not increase the price to $250. That is not good. It's ok to give a deal to someone for less than your asking price, but never mark up your prices based on greed. That is dirty money.
Likewise, if you are a customer, don't ask for a deal just because you know someone. Pay the full price they are asking. By paying people what they are worth or what they are asking, you are allowing them to live a life, put food, on the table, and send their children to school.
The bottom line is, don't rip people off, and pay people what they are worth. There is blessing for both parties in this truth.
Phew. I finally beat it. After feeling sick two days before New Year’s Eve, getting tested with a Positive COVID-19 test result on the day before New Year’s Eve, I finally beat the virus. God helped me and was my ultimate cure.
Before I get to the next part of this article, I want to share some things I did along my COVID journey.
It wasn’t fun having COVID. I was among those that thought it was a fake virus. I am here to tell you, it was definitely not fake, and could have taken me down worse in a split second. Like I said above, God healed me and chose to allow me to live another day.
COVID-19 was one of the best things that has happened to me in the end of 2020, and the beginning of 2021. It has helped me to realize that life is very fragile. Literally your whole world can be turned upside-down in an instant, as many have experienced over the past year of the virus.
So, now what? As cheesy as it sounds, I realize that I have been given a second chance at life. The little things in my life that seemed like huge problems, now have vanished out of my head. The bigger things I want to change in life, seem evermore possible, and I am going after those changes with more muscle than ever before.
I’m going to be holding my loved ones closer than ever before. I’ll be putting down my phone when someone is speaking to me. I will go out of my way to say hello to strangers. I will look for opportunities to serve others. Where there are financial and charity needs for others, I will meet them to the best of my ability. These are all of the things I should have been doing all along with excellence, but I have been falling short over the past year. However, It’s a new day for me now.
I’m not sure where this virus came from, but I count myself very lucky and blessed to be among the survivors of COVID. If hope you are reading this, I hope you don’t get it, but at least I do hope that you wake up tomorrow and say, “Behold, Another Day,” and take charge of your life like never before.
Here’s to 2021 my friends. – JT
When I look back and remember the reason I started this blog, Taulbs, I am easily reminded that each day is a new day and we have tons of opportunities.
Here’s a list of things to empower your happiness:
You see? How refreshing is it just to read this list? I’m sure you can come up with one for yourself or for your own family. If you focus on all of the amazing opportunities and blessings you have in a day, you won’t be able to contain your happiness. There are days when we grieve someone or something, and that’s okay of course!
The point is, apply this type of thinking to each day when you wake up.
Much love – JT
Adventure is not a single activity or planned event. Every step you take in life can be an adventure.
Forgiveness is not the same as forgetting. It is good that we forgive one another. This life is full of things that we can do or have done to us that are hurtful. Forgiving someone after you are wronged is the first step to extinguishing anger and inner turmoil. Do not forget however, because it will stop you from learning your lesson on maybe why something was done to you, or why you did something on a small part of your journey in life.
It’s a new day. One of the best things I have learned over the years, is that each day starts with the same thing not only in nature, but in us. We rise to our feet and have the choice to always choose the right thing. That’s easier said than done sometimes. The forces of evil are against us. Let’s lock arms and make a point to choose the right thing and do good deeds today that we may show others love.
So this is my first blog post on here. I set out with Taulbs to help people shed light on their journey through life and also share some of the lessons I've learned along my journey to encourage and inspire others. That’s really it. I may post some of the music I've created here in the future as well.. not sure yet. I do know that I am here to focus on the people of the world. Thank you for reading this blog.
